Responsible for the day to day handling of each client’s exhibits properties, the Inventory Control team meticulously scrutinizes every component not only when it is deployed from our facility, but also when it returns. This dual inspection process maintains the integrity of the inventory, and extends the life of the displays, protecting our clients’ investments.
All properties housed at CTS are monitored through the use of a barcode inventory management system. Every single component of an exhibit is assigned a unique item number, photographed, bar-coded, and scanned to create an exclusive master inventory. Each inventoried piece is scanned and verified as it ships from and returns to our warehouse. At any given moment, CTS knows exactly where any component of a client’s exhibit inventory is located, and if a single item fails to return. This is especially critical in the management of large, highly active event programs.
Our commodities tracking system enables us to maintain accurate inventory piece counts of literature and giveaways. Each CTS client has the ability to access their real-time inventory database through a secure, password-protected internet connection.
